I am trying to compile some information on people that have crashing Apps and don't have crashing Apps. What version of iTunes did you use to update to 2.0.2, iTunes 7.7.0 or 7.7.1 and do you have have crashing Apps?

I used the new version and my Apps crash all day long, sometimes they don't even boot up, the phone shuts off, i drop calls like crazy now, full service with 3G does absolutely nothing so i've been living on EDGE for the past week.....mail program stopped working (crashes also), restored over 10 times since the update (it was probably 20 times because itunes was reporting that my iphone couldn't be restored so i had to restart the restore)!!!

Can i vote twice lol

I used 7.7.1 and had apps crashing and music not showing up.

I removed iTunes and installed 7.7.0 and restored with 2.0.2 thru that and have had no app crashes and my music has been there all week!!!!

can someone please explain to me why using the older verison of itunes to install 2.0.2 would make any of these issues that everyone is having go away??? It just doesn't make sense to me.........

I think some people read it on another forum that itunes 7.7.1 was causing the apps to crash. Judging from the poll results, that is not a valid theory though.

I agree. I used 7.7.1 and have no problems with apps.

It's looks that way, but I can tell that since I did the downgrade to 7.7.0 I have not had to restore my 3G iPhone and no Apps have crashed.

The reason I wanted to do the poll is because I do read alot of people having issues and since Apple text'd the 2.0.2 update to people I have noticed an increase in complaint with Apps crashing.

Will see how it goes, but 2.1 will be out soon and this will be old news.
