Announcement: I'm a daddy

Hi EIC.com folk! I just wanted to share with you that my wife & I just had a little girl, Elizabeth. She's terribly premature (27 weeks, 1lb 14oz) but doing very well. Jennifer is looking at the hospital dinner menu right now, which is incredible given that she was having a C-section 8 hours ago.

Prayers and/or hopes for Liz are welcome. Best to you all!

Thanks again everybody! Liz is doing great. She just had her eye exam, retinas are fine. She now just needs to plump up.

In the NICU they have a Halloween costume tradition, so Jen bought a her preemie geisha outfit. It's going to look ridiculous, so naturally I'll post some photos.

You've probably noticed I've been a bit post-scarce lately, but I'm still lurking around and happy to help with anything, just PM me. 'Course the mods are doing a great job, and as always 99% of all this is all Chris.

Captaincore, CONGRATULATIONS! Sleep deprivation is a wonderful thing, is it not? If your choice if avatars is any indication, you're going to be a great dad. Photos of your little one when you have a chance.

Hey K & Jen...

Just checked in on the blog haven't been there in a week and had to check out the happenings of that precious baby :) She looks fantastic you both are doing wonderfully!! Thank you for giving us all a place to check on her.. :) I hope you both are getting much needed rest when possible and that she continues to have "GOOD" days :)

We all are thinking of you and love all 3 of you :)

Can't wait to see in her in her first Halloween costume!!
