While here looking at my iphone that has been restored 5 F---- times, something popped up that said to download 2.1.1....I dont know if its just me or whatever....Well, let me just let out some steam from this hell of a week.....my first gen 4 GB iphone that i bought for the regular price of $530.00 after tax needs to constantly be restarted because it lags, freezes or whatever in the middle of what im doing. Then last night, it froze on me, so then i did a soft reset, then all of a sudden it shows the itunes logo and telling me to plug it in, so i did. Then it tells me to restore it, so i let it restore while i slept, then when i woke up this morning, all of my songs whrent even in the phone, so i connected it to itunes and its telling me to restore it!!! Even though i just did!!!! so through out the day, ive been restoring and restoring and still no music!!!! It works fine, but i need my songs. When i connect it to itunes it doenst even recognize my phone, it says an iphone has been previously connected to this comp. and asks if i want to create a new iphone or restore from my iphone, when i click my iphones name, it restores and constantly does that.....im getting sick and tired of this phone and it i dont get it resolved, i will end up giving it to my cichlids to eat....Thanks!! And i just noticed, right after i typed "Thanks!!" my iphone was recognized by itunes!!! and is syncing all my songs back.....so i guess if your having issues, DL 2.1.1?? To be honest though, on the screen where it says all the info when your iphone is connected and syncing, it says that 2.0.2 is the curent software version even though something popped up and said to DL 2.1.1.....scary.....just hang in there everyone having issues.....and be nice, this is my first thread :smile:
