Help Please!!

well i went to update my phone and then i wanted to restore from a backup and after all that was done it seemed to work like every other time. but when i hooked up the phone again to sync it itunes reads the phone as wanting to restore or set up as a new phone. so i restored it from a back up and still the same thing. Help me please...

Did you get this issue resolved? It's happened to me a few times and I would just unplug and replug it into iTunes and it would eventually just allow me to sync instead of restore or set up as a new phone.
