Downgrade 2.02 to 2.01 help

Hi,
I tried to downgrade from 2.02 to 2.01 on my iphone 3g, my problem is this. Oddly enough, my 3g reception has become worse with this update. I put the phone into dfu mode, then shift and hit restore with itunes 7.7 not 7.7.1. I choose the 2.01 and it starts to restore and at the very end I get the 1013 error. So, I tried iLiberty and the other tools tab, and was going to use the jump out of recovery mode button, but it's not highlighted and none of the other buttons in other tools are either. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks!

iono, but i want to downgrade back to 2.0 from 2.0.2, but dont know where to start or if its possible..

Anyone else downgrade yet..... I'm thinking about it. My reception is horrid with 2.0.2

Will I need to go into recovery mode or can I just restore from my previous 2.0.1 restore FW?

You would put the phone in DFU mode first than shift restore with iTunes and then point it to your FW, but the problem is 2.0.2 upgraded the baseband. So its not looking to good right now, If i find anything out i'll let everyone know

I think I read somewhere, not sure where, that you cannot downgrade from 2.0.2. I could be completely wrong though....
