email counter/yahoo account

i've noticed that my homescreen mail icon doesn't always reflect the correct number of inbox unread emails. has anyone experienced this as well? any quick fix tips? thanks all.

i was in the same boat. i brought it up a couple fo times, but no one here could give me an answer. My problem was more with gmail though and how they filter their labels.
