seting phone up as new

can i set my phone up as a new one, with out having to restore ? i seen a thead about a new update, so maby i can just do it after then and make sure i have all my contacts writen down somewere

If you set it up as a new phone, you don't need to write your contacts down if they are on your computer.

The next time you sync your phone, they will go write back on the phone.
