Moving Sync PC's and Restore

Hello,

Two questions...

1.) I have successfully jailbroken my iphone 3g with Winpwn. Itunes still wants me to restore a backup. Can I safely do this? This will not rewrite the firmware, but just move my appilcations back correct?

2.) I would like to change my sync PC from my windows box to my new Mac. How can I insure all my apps and contacts are moved over? Is this even possible?

Ok three questions :) Why does the restore process take 3 hours?

the restore process should not take that long.

syncing to back up will had certain lines of code from your original un pwned version of your firmware therefore resulting in many issues and nothing really working right

as far as your other question i dont think its possible and if it is in fact possible i dont know how sorry
