Cydia and downloading stuff question.

Hello, I was wondering is it possible to download the apps and other to pc, then transfer them to iPhone, because where I live I only have GPRS. I've been planning to get Wireless router sometime, but not soon.

So is there? Because downloading something by gprs is pain in the ass, and I only have 3G at school :E.

Yes, it is. Assuming you know were the app in question is hosted on the internet (i.e, the developer's website, a Google Code page, etc.), you can download an transfer it to the /Applications folder on your iPhone. You'll need SSH to transfer it; to learn how to use SSH, read this guide (http://hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=48459).

E: And do you happen to know where I'm able to download themes to iPhone? I ask, but i probably find later, would be just faster if you, or someone else would tell me :). (Also Quake is one game i want.)

Yeah, I noticed while installing super monkey ball. I had some problems with it, then watched some video, and while watching that I had to set the permission 777 to every file in the .app folder. I should read the instructions more carefully.
