To set the phone, that when you go back to a particular app, you don't have to go to where you were the last time in the app...just go to it like the first time.....

Yes. When you close the app instead of tapping the home button once, hold down the home button for about 7-10 seconds until you see the app close.

This will completely shut down the app instead of just minimizing it.
