i couldnt get one on iday. i dont have an apple store anywhere near me (i hear that most apple stores still have them in stock), and my local att store says they are backordered. so i went to apple.com and it says 2-4 week wait, i called apple and the guy i talked to said he wasnt for sure but would guess it would take 3 weeks for me to get one from them.

i went to ebay and after looking for awhile i found an 8 gig thats "buy it now" price was $650 with free overnight shipping and it was still in box, unopened, came with receipt and everything, so i got that onean the guy guarentees ill get it by thursday (due to the forth coming on wednesday).

so if you dont mind paying a few extra bucks (with overnight shipping im not paying a whole lot more) i would recommend trying ebay. the one i found was about 12 pages in so dont just look at the first few pages.

just thought id let everyone who still wants one that not all iphones on ebay are rediculously over priced.

Thats a good price cus with tax it would cost close to the same at the store.

Try back at ATT stores MONDAy I was told of course a rumor
ATT store will have more MONDAY.

who ever posted that is making like $20 or losing money after the tax for the phone, ebay fees, paypal fees and, over night shipping.

You better be careful. Nobody would sell the actual iPhone for that amount of money. Either you're mistaken on the By It Now price or the guy's a scam artist. Why would anyone sell it for cost?

i dont understand it either. i looked at his feedback, he is a prominent seller on ebay, 70 star, with not one negative feedback. so im gonna email him before i send money and see why he is selling so cheap.

Even if he got home and his wife pitched a fit, he could have taken it back to Apple or At&t if it were still unopened. It just doesn't make sense.

its still in the box, and has receipt. he showed pictures of both. that doesnt ensure that its not a scam but ill post what he says when i get a message back from him on ebay.

he's apple employee, figured if he make $600 now he can keep $600 and wait for couple months and use his employee discount to buy the phone.

Really? Are you sure you aren't thinking of income tax? I thought sales tax was a local tax.

There is no sales tax in the state of Delaware. State of Tennessee...it's a wopping 9.25%.

he said he bought 2 one for himself and one that he was gonna put on ebay and try and make some money. he put it on ebay friday night and it ended late last night, he had a reserve of $725 and it didnt sell, so now he is just trying to get rid of it. he said he is gonna break even, he just wanted to get rid of it after he couldnt get atleast $725.
