I went by a AT&T tower today to test out my iPhones 3G speed as well as signal.
This tower is located at 92nd and Federal Blvd in Westminster Colorado.
It's a huge tall tower and there are two others in the immediate area. Across the street from the tower, I had 5 full bars though my download speed fluctuated according to my iNetwork app. A few times it seemed very slow, and the best time is seen in one of the screen caps below.
As I drove away from the tower five blocks away, my signal dropped to 3 bars. At my home, I am about 1.5 miles away from the tower, my speeds fluctuate and I have seen as high as 1.1GB but that is rare.
