So as you can gather from my other posts, I'm fairly drama-prone. If it can go wrong, it will. It just happens like that with me. Well, today I was with my friend Rachel. We were just about to leave town and go to court for the ticket I got on the 4th. So I called and asked how much it'd be. They told me 220. That was great because it was less than i was told by a few other people. Then I started thinking,"Wait a minute... that's how much my sister said I owed her when she got me out of jail the next morning..." So I called back and inquired about my ticket number and sure enough, the lady told me my ticket had been paid!!!! SO I had been saving money for NOTHING! lol. So I was off the hook the WHOLE time! lol. Well, to celebrate, I went and bought a camera finally. I've been wanting a digital camera for quite some time since I'm never very satisfied with iphone pics.
I got on the IRC and had just typed,"I actually had GOOD LUCK?" and then opened the box to my camera ONLY to discover it was EMPTY!!!! I was like,"are you effing kidding me?! I just got done saying good luck and now this?!" Well, I went back to walmart and they replaced it. Took about 35 minutes. Its an Olympus FE-330. Nice little camera too.
Then went bowling and scored a 198!!! WOOT!

My first two digital cameras were both Olympuses (Olympi?) and I was VERY happy with them. Congrats on the good luck and the new toy!

A horrible place to be when you are 17....let me tell you. Sure, the nickname of "Daddy" back in high school was awesome, but unfortunately it was more b/c they all thought I was so "nice" and "caring" and was close "friends" with over half of the female population......That act didn't get me very far.

It seems to have worked out just fine for you, actually, judging by the wedding picture. :)

Ok, they other night I went bowling. I forgot my camera was in my pocket. Went to bowl and bumped it with the bowling ball.
Didn't think anything of it until I took my camera out at home that night and sure enough. It didn't work.
It wouldn't power on or anything! I was distraught! Its my favorite little toy. My friend Sai was saying,"let me look at it. Let me see if i can fix it." I was like,"You won't be able to do anything, there's no power!"
So I was inspecting the battery slot. Then I noticed that when I pushed the battery inside it further, the screen came on and told me the door was open. So I got a bobbypin and improvised a tool to pull the prongs up a little in the slot. Then the battery made contact at both ends and the power came on again!! WOOT! Look at me fixing cameras! I'm so handy! :p

As I was reading the first and second paragraph, the first thing that came to mind was that you forgot to charge it or something. :p

I'm not THAT stupid! :p Although I have been known to forget to plug in a tv or something. Or to have my car run out of gas and wonder what happened. :p
