Must be one of the "fixes" on the 2.0.1 update. I tried downloading the game Brain Game or something like that. The status bar in the app didn't even start but said it was done. Then re-downloaded again the app again. now there were 2 icons! It wasn't until I "updated" my apps then the buggy app disappeared.

Wow... interesting. I actually wish we could really place the icons exactly where we want them and not have to use the next available slot.

Yea. That's a feature that would please me as well.

This happened to me on 2.0 but only once. I too wish we had more control over the exact location of the icons.
