im lost i need some help

ok... i have music files i got off of limewire and i was wondering how u can make them into ringtones... anyone..

There are a few ways to do this.

If you are using a mac, you can cut it down and make it into a ringtone using garage band.

There are threads on here if you search (I'd look for you and give you a link, but I have to get ready for work, sorry) that will show you how to do it on a Windows Machine.

There are also websites that will cut down songs for you. I used mobile17.com for a very short time before I figured out how to do it in garage band. It worked well, but if you don't pay, it takes up to 4 hours (depending on the time of day and how many other users there are) to upload the file.

Hope this helps a little bit.

Hint: For search i'd use terms like customized ringtones or something like that.

There are youtube videos that will show you step by step how to do it. If that helps any! :smile:

I use a program called "iRinger" and it will import your non- DRM'd song, let you cut and edit what you want and will export to your iTunes ringtones folder, all with a few clicks. And its free too, just google it. Thats how I have all of my ringtones.
