Me, my dad and friend ALL bought V1 8Gb iPhones, and I have got them all up and running on 1.1.4 fully unlocked and jailbroken. They all have been in cases and are great condition...if you are looking for a 8gb let me know and I can hook you up with one right away because I may be upgrading to a different phone soon anyways. He couldn't get a 3g due to a cosigning issue. If you sold your phone for 250, you would only be 50 away from a 16 gig...

I would be willing to sell you my old V1, it is definitely not the best you could get but would be cheap. 4gb, scratched up on back (badly in one or two spots) and a small-medium crack on the bottom black part that barely touches the actual screen lol. It works 100% fine though. I'd throw in a red iSkin Revo case with it so it would cover up the scratches and 95% of the crack.

EDIT: Oh and I have the original box too lol. Just not the charger or head phones =[ (headphones broke, and charger lost in a hotel lol)

it has a nick on the mute button and the usually minor scratches on the silver apple logo on the back, it is in very good condition though. The reason I am trying to stick to the price of the 16gb 3g is I am willing to throw in a black Agent 18 case as well as a clear Belkin case as well. :laugh2:

iPhone: in excellent condition, no scratches, scrapes, nicks, chips or cracks on the screen, running OS 2.0.1, Minor nick on mute button area (per photo), the silver apple logo has scratches that I can't get to show up on photos (due to being minor ones and are caused by be placed on surfaces without a case, no abuse)

dock: brand new still in plastic wrap

charger and USB: in good condition, used but with no signs of wear or abuse.

Agent 18 case: in good condition, shows marks where the iPhone has been slid in and out of case for cleaning, no abuse just normal wear.

Belkin clear case: practically brand new as I used the case for a couple of weeks before I got the Agent 18 case.

Box: comes with the wipe cloth, apple sticker and useless instructions (lol)

Apple Bag: plastic in excellent condition (lol)

Try rotating the phone to landscape mode before you click to post. It will give you a wider keyboard which will allow for two finger typing. Won't work in SMS or email but most other applications it does!
EDIT: this trick works great for entering URLs and posting to forums. Also great when you have input boxes on websites such as username and password fields!

I don't think syncing will help. Do you get that error when sending or when receiving emails? If it is a network problem, it may be due to a low signal. If not you may have to check the incoming or outgoing server settings. I've used my iPhone with 4 GoDaddy accounts, a few times I got errors, and I had to change the outgoing server to another port. :2cool: My sale comes with tech support, so klet me know exactly what the error is and I can troubleshoot it with you. :laugh2:

How are you "pushing" your gmail? For yahoo, All I did for my Yahoo mail was to set "Push" to on, and that did the trick.

So far I've almost bricked my iPhone trying to Jailbreak/unlock it, but was very successful with jb/u in the end:laugh2: and now using it on T-mobile with great signal! Only bad thing is that I dont have the t-mobile "flexpay" yet so right now Im just using a prepaid tmobile sim card, but this thursday I get my paycheck and will have plan that would include T-zones... or w/e is best for the iPhone to use for Internet( T-zones vs Total Internet plan?)

Everything is set up and working on my iPhone, except for the mail is still not working, the appstore still wont let me sdownload "yet"- cause I think I need to set up an account or something-, and for some reasom when I go through my phones contacts it kinda "lags" I guess you could say, and my keyboard in sms lags from time to time :(

yeah 2.0 is pretty laggy in the contacts app and with SMS or typing in Safari. 2.0.1 is a bit better although still not great. I have yet to upgrade to 2.0.2.

On your prepaid, do you have data associated with the account? That may be what is causing your email problem. The lags are just part of 2.0, 2.0.1. :2cool: Get a AppleID for iTunes and you will be able to download from the appstore till your heart's content. :laugh2:

Maybe once you get a data plan it will start to play nice, being the plain jane stock iPhoner, I am not much good with jailbreaking tricks :laugh2:

Well now EVERYTHING is working!:laugh2:
-It seems that once I made an iTunes account and synced everthing my push Mail started to work and the appstore downloads starting to come in:smile:

And I found that if you dont go to the actual contacts app and instead go to the contacts through the iPhone's phone then it wont lag when going through your contacts :)
-I still dont know how to fix or find a work-around the sms keyboard lag :(
