possible to change phone numbers????

when i got my 3G, i was tossing the idea of keeping my old phone and number, JUST IN CASE... so i got the phone with a new number.

still within the 30 days.

so, is it possible to change the number from the new number to my old one, while i finally kill my sprint account?

That's an interesting scenario but I would think it's possible providing Sprint hasn't re-assigned that number to someone else already. Although, I vaguely remember some law that states they have to keep your number for X amount of time after you either discontinue service or they shut you off.
I would call them ASAP and tell them you want to PORT your old number. I think it's possible. Post back once you've done that to let us know how it worked out.

well.. Success!!!

brought my sprint bill with me. went to the AT&T store and took about 10 minutes and in the end I got a new SIM card and about 2 to 3 hours later I received my first call with the number I had for over six years...

Since I was still under the 30days I was willing to do a return just incase ... ;)

its always nice to have the same number
when i got my new number i kept getting calls from someone that had that number before me....
wait i mean people that meant to call the person that had the number before me (if that makes any sense)
