Hello Forum Members,
Now that most of us have had a full day to scrutinize update 2.0.1. What are your feelings on 2.0.1??? More specifically, did 2.0.1 solve the issues (if any) you were having with your iPhone???
My answer is, I do seem to have better signal strength. The (App Store) applications open much faster, but my success stops there. I still have lagging issues in the address, email, texting and camera applications. My phone has also, already crashed twice and required a restart once. How is it that Apple cannot get this right??? Jailbreaking was more stable than this...Mark
My iPhone: 8GB V1
BTW: Please include if your iPhone is v1 or V2 3G and how many gigs...Thanks

Never had chronic major problems before. Nothing bad with 2.0.1 so far.

No "lagging" issues for me anymore. And syncing seems to go a hell of a lot faster now. Overall I'm pleased with the update and do notice a difference. Much speedier.
Now I can focus my attention on waiting for a possible MobileChat release this week.:laugh2:

Same here. I had some slight lag, and except for the camera it has been cleared up. Syncing was not that long for me to start with, but is faster now. Backup doesn't take as long.

Less lagging today with the update. (But I did not use my iphone that much today. I will test more and post back). I also did not have any freezing up today.

Not a lot of issues prior to the update, but my accelerator seems to be working properly now. Signal strength is about the same although GPS now won't locate me inside my home... didn't have that issue with 2.0 5A347 firmware.

16 gig 3g...alot less lag, better response when scrolling and pinching in safari, and the contacts work better...it was a pretty decent update.
I voted in the thread about this created this morning.

Wow, there are 2 of these threads asking almost exactly the same thing. I don't know which one was first so I posted on both.

my only issue with my phone was that everything lagged, now nothing lags.... so yes, 2.0.1 solved my problems.

None of these polls have the choice:
"Never had problems before and still don't have problems with 2.0.1."

I believe answer 4 covers that base...M

It fixed some of the lagging issues I was having. Don't know if it was supposed to fix any of the reception (which I doubt) but that hasn't improved really. The lagging was my main problem especially coming from the V1 iPhone to the 3G 16gig.

2.0.1 Solved the issue of my phone being laggy with Apps both Native and App Store Apps but I want to know is anyone having the same problems Ive been having.
4G V1 iPhone
Pre 2.0.1 Problems still here:
* Time will lag once phone is locked and will stay that till (home button & lock button) reset. e.g: Its 12:51 now I dont use my phone for an hour then I unlock and... Ding Ding DING DING... 12 txt messages and the clock will start updating by the minute until it corrects... If it does at all. Ive been late to work a few times because of me thinking the phone was on correct time.
* Txt messages sent to me will be dropped and sometimes I never receive them as well as vice versa.
* Phone calls will either not be received and or lag and phone will not ring.
* I lose reception in a lot of areas I previously had them...
* Customer service is horrible now... (could be because I have a go phone :D)

Well I take back what I said. I just opened up contacts and it was laggy as all hell. This blows.
