Nothing more fun than opening and setting up a new computer,especially a mac. I am a first time mac owner and will never go back to windows. Hope you get much enjoyment out of it.
I see you couldn't wait to get home to take a pic. Had to do it in the car.:laugh2:

Plan on the black, as I am recieving my black iPhone soon.
However, if the new Macbook rumors are true... (http://gizmodo.com/5032929/possible-pictures-of-upcoming-macbook-leaked)looks like I'm stuck with aluminum. Not that I wouldn't mind, but I like the black.
How much did yours put you back?

Looks like we both have the black one, and we'll both also be the ones who just purchased MacBooks, only to see the amazing new ones rumored to come in September.

I remember when I got my first mac about a year ago! crazy how small the box is! I love it more and more everyday. YOu will not regret it at all. Enjoy, the black looks really nice btw.

Well my parents gave me £2000 from the money from selling my deceased grandma's house. £1000 went on the laptop and more memory for it, and the other £1000 is to go in a trust fund for me. So, really it's my grandma I have to thank.

This is actually my..........................5th.....mac? I think 5th. But all my previous ones have been hand-me-downs from my dad. Though I'm not complaining ;) lol

It is definantly not the easiest thing given a large sum of money not to spend it all faster than you got it. Saving earlier, helps you longer! Start that nest egg!!!!

lol I've just been paid, and it is already spoken for by upcoming games such as Fifa 09 (3/10) and COD5 (around November/December) but obviously I will have been paid again by then lol. :)

You have to get friends over one night and play for money. That makes it fun.

Nah, the white looks nice with it, and matches the letters on the keys and the white Apple logo on the front of the laptop.

i used to think the blacBooks should come with black peripherals, but they just look so drab in comparison...

I think that would look very sharp. When I was considering my mac, if they had black peripherals, I think that I might have gotten that.
