I just noticed today there are three red dots to the left of the sensor at the top of the iPhone. They look like they might be able to light up. Has anyone else noticed this? I can't get it to show up in a pic.

One is auto brightness sensor, and the other two are proximity sensors.

They usually only show up under sunlight because the light is shining through the glass screen and showing the sensors underneath.

There is one less proximity detector on the V1 phone. They were also located in a different spot (above the headset) which is why people have problems when they use skins from their old iPhone with the new 3G.

The bottom right of the three sensors, infrared, or proxy sensor indicator, my bottom right one is light a constant red. This goes away when the phone is left alone for a few minutes and the screen goes black. but from now on the red light is on when the screen is on or in use. Why all of a sudden did this happen. When I try and take a picture of it with another phone the picture shows up white and very bright instead of the red backwards C with a dot in the middle. Infrared? Why did this all of a sudden come on and stay on?

Any input is greatly appreciated.
