wierd backup?

whenever i first updated to 2.0, like many people, my phones been taking a long time to backup. but then i read somewhere that it helps to delete old backups, and then backup again.

but when i did this my backup is labeled " Unknown 12/31/2000 7:00PM" everytime i back up. this leads me to think that there is something wrong with the backup file. anyone seen this before or know how to fix it?

I just backed up yesterday and the date and time is fine. And it seems the backup process is much faster. Although the update bug needs to still be fixed.
