My iphone has cost me...

I was just thinking today how much this precious iphone has cost me over the past year or so and its pretty bad.

$641 (original iphone on iday 1 + tax)
$250 (cracked screen about a month after i got the phone)
$30 (loaner phone while waiting for it to be fixed)
$427 (new iphone after mine was totalled in car accident)
-$320 (sold iphone v1 on ebay after fees etc)
$320 (new iphone 3g 16gb)

So even without the ~$90/month bill im at $1348 lol. Anyone have that beat?

With that being said, its still my FAVORITE TOY and worth every penny I have spent :)

I also got a purple Beyza leather slip case that cost me about $40 with shipping.

I bought a case I did not like for $30

Apps in app store probably $40

My work pays the cel bill, so it is about $510. Worth every penny.

I am planning on getting 3G. I just need to make time to wait in line or do the DF thing.

Well my car insurance said since it "wasnt attached to the car" then they were not covering it. The car was totalled and I was pretty happy with the amount they offered me.

They said I might be able to get coverage from my homeowners insurance so I talked to them. Well I did but with a $500 deductable there is not much of a point I guess.

Did you get to replace your car? It was beautiful by the way, I'm so sorry. I had someone break into my car and steal my stereo. I had my very expensive nokia cell phone at the time and my palm pilot. The insurance paid for the stereo and the palm pilot but would not pay for the cell because it wasn't attached either, but it's weird they payed for the palm pilot.

$399... iPhone v1 8g

$24.... car charger/audio connector
$7...... Labyrinth license (only JB app I purchased, more to come from appstore likely)
$2...... silicone dock port protector

So about $1232 total so far. I'd pay twice that for the fun I've had with it.

I did get paid from my insurance company. I had the Z for 4 years at that point so I figured I was ready for something new(Although I honestly still loved my Z, what an awesome car).

I went a very different route this time around. Its certainly not the Z but its a great ride for bumping around town on a nice day. :2cool: I hope to get another Z as a second car somewhere down the line if I ever get my butt back to work.
