2.0 help !

i have the iPod touch (it has music and videos already) and i just got the ipod and iphone update but in order to add apps to my ipod it says to install the 2.0 update. i dont understand what "will backup and restore" means. will it delete all of my music and videos ?

Back up and restore will make a copy of your iPod's data on the computer, in the case it gets messed up. If it says 2.0 needs to be installed, it must mean you don't have it.
Did you payed money for 2.0? Or did you get the free iPod update?

i downloaded/bought the $9.95 ipod touch iphone update but it asks me to install the 2.0. will it delete all of my songs and video ? :frown:

It shouldn't, it will backup your data before the upgrade and after it will restore it.

install the latest firmware asap, mine kept locking up until i did. I wonder how long these sat on shelves before being shipped
