My goodness. You'd think people would make a simple search before they keep asking the same damn questions over and over and over.

My friend, read the RipDev blog (http://russianiphone.ru/blog/).

The pride and joy of this place is a distinct lack of responses in this tone.

Installer is not yet available for a 2.0 jailbreak. Soon, though.

i apologize, i knew i had read that it wasn't officially release yet but people kept talking about installer in other threads and i didn't know if maybe it had gotten released lately or if there was a beta or something.

But thank you for the link.

But my question still stands, once it's released, how would i install installer? would i have to jailbreak it through another program? could i install it through cydia? i honestly have no clue

You don't have to apologize. You asked a simple question, and he talked down to you.

thanks for the answer. and i read somehwere that cydia should be installed after installer because of a new BDS subsystem cydia has. is this correct? (i have no idea what that is, but i just don't wanna screw anything up)

the cydia files and installer files will stay seperated and you should just get cydia anyways because it might be replacing installer as in be better in 2.0 seeing tjatvprogrammers are trying to get thief stuff out. If this helps can u click thanks lol
