Does anyone else get annoyed of the fact that when an app gets updated it moves to the very last page, then you have to go an put it back where you had it. If you can remember?!?!
Does anyone know why it does this? Why can't it just "update" the app, seems like it just deletes the app the re installs it IMO.

Yes, this annoys me a lot as well. I'm guessing that updating does essentially remove it first and then re-install it. IIRC on a previous jailbroken iPhone I had, apps updated through Installer did not do this, so it has to be possible.

I think I saw a thread here recently with a suggestion/idea to allow editing of your home screen icons through iTunes. I think I'd actually like this since it would be much easier than dragging my icons through multiple pages on my home screen - I have a hard time getting them where I want sometimes. Otherwise, I'd love it if Apple changed the home screen structure to allow folders, then I'd only have one screen with my favorite apps and then folders for Games, News, etc. That would be sweet.

Folders would be awesome! Great idea!

I can't take credit for that idea at all - there is an app on Installer (for 1.1.4, at least) for jailbroken iPhones that allows you to do just that. Not the most graceful implementation, but it worked. I hope someone at Apple tries it and pushes to implement something like that...

IMHO, I really think that Apple very carefully allows certain features to work, and doesn't allow certain features to work so they can wait til releases to make a lot of hype for each update. Keep people on the edge of their seat. I hate it, they love it!

It doesn't bother me too much right now because I'm keeping the number of Apps I have to a minimum but I know that as more time passes it will bother me more and more.

No one cared though back then I guess.

I am downloading them now, just in case they are free now, then cost a little bit later on. Someone on here mentioned that might be the case for some of these apps.
To be honest, if made an app that is what I would do that to then have a fee, just to get the app out there and hopefully some positive reviews.
