Hi Guyz,

My Sis has promised me to get an iPhone from UK. But the problem as we all know is that Apple Store makes us get the Cell activated in da store itself......... I do not want that contract.. I want to use it with a differrent provider.

Pls can u suggest me any method as to how i can get a iPhone
3G.

well the only way to get one is to contact O2mobile join them and depending on which plan u get will justify if u get the phone free, pay half or w/e.

If u do not want to sign up with them then you can get one from eBay but the cost of a 3g iPhone will be high. Phones are there for as much as $1500

Cant I cancel the contract after a month and keep the iPhone?

Yes, but you might have to pay some fees. After a month, Im not sure if they make you pay that months fees, since im not familiar with O2 and all those carriers, and you also might/probably have to pay an Early Termination Fee.

Yes you will be charged the full non contract amount for the phone. If you can afford the 599/699 then by all means go for it. But to the average consumer thats quite a hit.

The price is high if i go wid contract.lets see if iPhone prepaid is launched......................
