Wondering if others have seen this.
I had my phone fully charged used it all day, still had well over 1/2 battery life. Then went to check the time and it wouldn't display anything??? Held down power button, nothing, held down home button, nothing.
connect it to my pc and screen shows up and I can sync, but then remove it from pc and push the top button to lock and gone again.
Just rebooted it and seems to be ok for the time being.

My own turned off on me once. And I had to re-install the apps I downloaded because they would keep crashing on launch (WTF). But never did it not want to power back on. But I'm learning that just like any other phone, you have to power cycle them from time to time just to clear out the RAM. I have gotten text lag, but its nothing that a reboot won't fix. Just waiting on the firmware update to address all these issues.

My 3g and V1 both crash and reboot. Sometimes takes a few minutes to reboot (Goes blank and also Apple Logo). Bugs in 2.0 and no it didn't work for those suggesting restore (347 version).

You can hold the Home Button until it returns to Home Screen instead a reboot to fix Text Lag.

Yea I was out of town without my power cord to plug it in, so it was a full day that I couldn't get it to turn on, and when I did plug it in to the pc the screen came back (no apple logo) so it appears as if it was on the entire time, just not functioning

SonicGT you jinxed me! I should have never replied to this thread! Now I was just browsing my contacts and then it went dead on me. I am currently restoring my phone. And as I am typing the screen has turned back on. I can tell you one thing. If any apple devs are reading this, this happened about 15-20min after installing my first BOUGHT app from the iTunes store. We'll see what happens in after the restore. I hope 2.1 addresses silly issues like this and other ones.
