View Full Version : Unlocked/Jailbroke V1 iPhone & now no Yahoo Mail

I unlocked and jailbroke my 8Gb V1 iPhone with the new Pwnage for 2.0, I am in Iraq and using a AsiaCell prepaid SIM and it works fine.

I am connected to a wifi network and I can view pages with safari but when I try to set up my yahoo email the phone keeps saying that my yahoo username and password are incorrect (their not) and it can not verify my account.

Anyone else have this issue?

i re-jailbroke mine and now it works.

I re-jailbroke again and I checked the "YouTube fix" and now it's working fine.

i too checked "YouTube Fix" this time and it all has been working fine.

Isn't the "you tube fix" for if your NOT using AT&T?

Yes, but it also seems to fix the yahoo mail issues people are having. It doesn't seem to affect YouTube at all, anyways.

Ok what about unlocking and jailbraking 2.1 with QuickPwn and mail still does not work?

My mail still does not work, even with 2.1, I activate my Yahoo account and the phone goes back to the "Mail Setting" screen but does not show my account.

This is the same thing it has done since I Unlocked and Jailbroke it. Using 2.0, 2.0.1, 2.0.2, and now still with 2.1 and I have tried the "youtube fix" thing and it still does not work.

I am trying to do this over WIFI, AsiaCell does not support data here.

I didn't even realize you were the OP. Sorry to hear you're still having issues. I don't have any other suggestion so hopefully someone else will.
