Sold my 8g iPhone, now getting screwed by AT&T.. Need another V1

Ok, here's the story. I sold my V1 about a week after the 3g was announced, trying to get as much as I could for it. Well I took it off my account and now AT&T won't let me get the new one for the $199 price point. They won't make me upgrade eligible. Basically if I would have kept it on my account for a week or two longer, I would have a 3g right now.... Farkin AT&T...

So now I'm in the market for another V1. Preferably an 8gig. Around $250, but might go higher.

i would not say your getting screwed by ATT you screwed yourself by canceling your v1 plan

how is that the fault of ATT its was posted all over the forums well before 3g came out to keep your plan .

Well I have talked to numerous AT&T reps and the first one told me that she made me upgrade eligible but it would take 24 hours. 24 hours past and I was still ineligible. I called back and I was told that it is not physically possible for them to make me eligible. Then I called again and was told that they can make me eligible, but not for the iPhone. I can get any other phone.

So, I think that's why I feel like I got screwed.

I have a v1 phone, still locked, 8gb, 2.0 that I'm looking to sell....I just upgraded to the 16gb 3g. It's runs great but the back has some scratches and the screen has some scratches and small dents on the top corners. I'll sell it for $225. Have pictures if you want them. Can't see the screen scratches when the face is lit up and I've never had mechanical problems with it, I just needed more space.
