I have already unlocked my 2g phone. Atm I have cydia, but with some of the things I want to use like summerboard themes I need installer.app

How can I add it without going through the jailbreaking process using ibrickr or something similar? Can I add just that app?

I don't mean to be rude, but in the future try the search button....installer is not available for iphone3g/2.0 its in the process of being made, and ontop of that its going to take a while longer for the developers to port their apps over to the 2.0 firmware....I wouldve jailbroke my phone but theres no use for me as of now theres nothing on cydia i like.

Sorry about the search button. But I have read tons of pages in the last 24 hours and to be honest there are so many different stories floating around about what you can and can't do. For every source I read saying it wasn't possible, there was one saying it was. Unfortunately most of these sites do not tell you that they are referring to mac only options. But thanks for these info anyway. Do you happen to know if there is a way or place of getting themes without having installer.app?

the only thing I can think of right now is an app called SPRINGROLL http://r-ch.net/sr/ thats there site, for me its too complicated since im not at all tech savvy. But you have to have your phone jailbroken to do this...
