$199 plus tax (whatever that is in your area) + a $36 activation fee.

I don't have to put a deposit down or anything because i'm going to be a new att customer.

Well it depends on your credit. If you have excellent credit, you wont have to, but if your credits not too great, it could go up to 500 dollars....

Make that "not too bad - excellent credit". They didn't need a deposit from me, and that was right after a divorce damaged 580 FICO. Luckily time has fixed both those issues. :2cool:

I have no credit at all, I'm only 20 lol and this will be my first cell phone in my own name and not my parents so i shouldn't have to pay a deposit hopefully.

I don't think it is right, but you will probably have to make a deposit because of no credit. I am assuming you mean that you have no credit because you have never used it and not that it is trashed because of abuse. Just because someone is smart and decides to not use credit they end up being punished in situations like this.

Bring at least $800 just in case. Its enough to cover the phone, the possible $0-500 deposit, and just in case you want to buy a case or something

Call and have them check your credit in advance.

the phone with tax cost me 212 and change, plus your activation fee of 36, but i think that may be applied to your first bill
