I unlocked and jailbroke with winpwn, but I have a question

Haven't done this before so bear with me for a stupid question.

After unllocking and jailbreaking my V1 I connect it to itunes and I'm given the option to restore to it from a previous backup, which I would like to do since it has my phone numbers, app store programs, and such.

Am I safe to do that or will it mess up the unlock/jailbreak?

Its safe to try it... if it causes problems just restore and setup as a new phone.
I used my backup however i only jailbroke did not unlock works fine
