Has anyone used Eye tv with comcast? I want to turn my mac mini into a dvr and then be able to burn things that i record on to a dvd or send it to my iphone. Have any of you guys tried this or know of a way to do it?

that's probably your best bet. I tried the Pinnacle TV for mac, but returned it in favor of Slingbox. Not exactly the same function, but it fit my usage better.
