how do i get the itunes apps to load? i jail nroke my iphone 3g and now the icons wont load. they load then just go back to the main screen of theiphone

I jailbroke mine and now having to restore back to actual itunes software. Due to now my itunes stopped responding, my apps stop responding, and my calls would not come through. I am sure that something will come along so i can change my sms tones.
