itouch hardware

My friend did it himself, but is there anyway an inexperienced itouch user can add certain hardware to his Itouch, such as external speakers, a camera, and or an "EDGE" detecter, i believe (the kind the iphone uses for internet, like every other phone). At least one of these would be good. If there is any on ebay, i could do a "itouch swap" by selling mine and buying theirs kind of thing. Otherwise, is there anything i can get and intall myself?

The easiest and cheapest way to do that would be to sell your touch and get an iPhone. I mean, that is what you're asking for here, right? There are no such mods to make a touch an iPhone because they would cost more to perform than the price of... an iPhone.

well, then comes in your monthly bill for the iphone, which adds up after a short time, when what my friend did had no monthly bill. Get it now?
