I have been using Dataviz's Documents to Go on my Palm for many years and now I feel lost without a spreadsheet. I don't need it for anything complicated... just a few columns that I can list a description in one column and an amount in the other column that will add up at the bottom.

Does anyone have an idea of what I can use? The only thing I can think of is entering it as a memo/note but that will not update the total if I change any #s.

I dont think there is a program yet for that. But keep checking the app store im sure someone will make one soon and have it on there for people to get. Maybe microsoft will come out with Office Mobile to use on the phone. Rigth now you can only view these thinks you cant edit.

You can create a spreadsheet in excel and email it to yourself though... That's how my husband keeps his "book wishlist" organized for when he hits used bookstores.

It doesn't completely solve the problem because you can't add or delete items on the fly, but it's a temporary work-around at least in his case.

I remember reading that a program called Mariner Calc was going to come out that would allow both viewing and editing. I don't think it's available yet, however.
