Hi,
I'm in need of finding a case for my 3g (scared to take it out of the house until I get one). I'm really just looking for something that will offer a lot of protection, and something that will just fit around the phone (not a sleeve or puch or anything like that). Can anyone recommend one? In general, is it better to have rubber, plastic, or leather around the phone? (I think I've heard that plastic cases scratch it.) Does anyone have any opinions about the naked case from case-mate? Lastly, where is a good place to look for a case in person? (I already tried bestbuy, the apple store, and att.)

Sorry for all of the questions and thanks for your help.

I don't know about your area, but where I am Apple and Best Buy seem to have the greatest selections. I like the clear Agent 18 case myself.
There is a section in this forum devoted to cases. Cruse thru there and see what people are recommending. If you are like most, you will find yourself with a small collection of cases before too long. They become addicting.
Good luck!!!

I'm using the Griffin Nu Form right now. It looks pretty good. Griffin is having free shipping also. check it out www.griffintechnology.com.
