iPhone Problem

I Purchased an iphone today and is unlocked to any network. . It worked fine when i put in my sim but then i connected it to itunes and it asked if i wanted to update the software. I opted for yes and once it finished, i tried outting my sim in again and it said please insert a unlocked sim. So im thinking that the phone has locked it self and restored back to its original settings. Any solutions?

Use Ziphone to unlock it again. When you have an unlocked or jailbroken iphone, you should avoid firmware updates. You can get plenty of information on ziphone on the iphone modifications forum. You'll probably also have to downgrade back to 1.1.4 before you can unlock it again.

Did you upgrade to the 2.0 software? If so you're going to have a fun time downgrading to 1.1.4. Here is a link with a step-by-step.
