Help adding mp4 to iphone 3g

Ok well I got videora for my 3g and made sure that i got the right version but I have converted a movie ( never back down ) to mp4 and it shows up on the top movie section of my itunes but will not sync to my iphone what am I do wrong?

ok I changed and tried a different video just a short clip no more than 5 or 6 minutes long and still it is just sitting in itunes. It will not transfer over to my phone. At this point I am willing to pay someone something for helping me figure this out. I ever right clicked on the file and hit convert to iphone and it comes up with an error message saying, " One or more videos were not converted because they are already in the correct format." what am I doing wrong.

ok I don't know what I did but I clicked on the small picture of the movie I am trying to get onto my iphone instead of the file name and BAM BAM BAM it worked. It stopped playing my music and started syncing. This is a relief.
