Someone once told me about that place. Apparently there is this "sun thing" that makes the area bright? I don't know, I'm going to go read a book about this magical place. Or maybe I'll just use my GPS features on the iphone to find out how to get there.

I think I heard something about that. I heard that if you stare out it too long it will blind you. No thanks. I put in "outside" in google maps and it doesn't pull up anything so it must not be near my house anyway.

ya know, when I couldn't activate last friday, for IDK, 6 FRIGIN HOURS! ..it was really quite a liberating experience.. I couldn't remember the last time I was not "connected" at all times. Quite peaceful.

The GPS needs to open after an application uses it to ask if you'd like to turn it off. Just like when it asks if you'd like the app to use your current location. It's kind of pain to remember to go back to settings to turn GPS off to save battery power. Seems like a simple software patch / update.
