3G Talk Time vs. 2G Talk Time - Double your battery life

If you leave 3G on during a call, you will get 5 hours talk time. If you turn it off, you will get 10 hours. I have tried both and the quality, in my opinion, is identical. If 3G is better, it is ever so little, and not worth half the battery.

Now what makes me mad is that there is no setting to have all calls in 2G. How annoying it's gonna be to constantly turn off 3G before calls! I wish a tweak or app or software update from Apple would fix this.

I didn't get PWNED. I'd like to see pictures of a 3g iphone getting 10 hours talk time. Let's see some pictures of the settings. With everybody complaining about the battery, it's hard to believe anything Apple claimed the 3g can do.

You are supposed to have the ability to turn off 3g, so all calls would be in the 2.5 g network.

The only real advantage to 3G is talking and surfing at the same time.

I know we have the ability, but it's annoying to turn it off before every call. Having an extra 5 hours talk time is very irresistable, but turning it off each time is very annoying too.

But for WiFi/BT/3G, guess there was something in the past called 'BossMod' which game you quick access to these features.

no it doesnt. but hey 3g phone in my area is like 1000x better than 2g. i tried making a few calls in 2g and it sucks compared to 3g.
