Wow! Just found a website
that is selling a package of iphone apps including snes emulator, mms, ringtones and video recording all for the price of $24.95 :laugh2:
I don't have an iphone 3g yet but when I do I'm definitly gonna purchase them. Has anyone already done so?
The website says that your iphone does not need to be jailbroken to use the applications either so for me, it's gotta be worth it just for the mms app and the video recording:2cool:

LOL. What a rip off. Those won't work on the 3G. And they are free for jailbroken v1 iPhones. Well, the video recorder costs money, but it's less than $25. The rest are free.

I'm sure if you looked hard enough you would find all those apps for free. So I suggest you save your money.

Personally it looks like its not legit. Mostly everything in that package is available for free through installer. It doesn't say that it does or does not have to be jail broken, just not unlocked. Correct me if im wrong.

Anyone want to legitimize this? I have a feeling it might be spam. Im hoping not, but I have that feeling.

That's not entirely correct. The website says your phone does not have to be unlocked (which is a modification that allows you to use the iPhone on another network other than AT&T) to use the applications. You'd still be jaibreaking your iPhone in order to use the applications.

This must be illegal. All of those apps were made as freeware by other developers!

Oh I see. Sorry, I thought unlocked and jailbroken were the same thing. I'm new to iphones so still learning.

NP everyone gets confused, i feel there is no need to buy any apps other than the apple store, installer is there for everything else.

Ive been wondering about this... Now that iTunes has an application section (just like ringtones and music...) why couldnt you download the app off the net then import it into the app section of iTunes, kinda like I did with the ringtone hack??
Either way, this is to much for those apps.

They won't play on an unauthorized computer.

So since this has been debunked, anyone know of any working emu's for the 3G yet?
