Just found out I'm eligible for an employee discount with AT&T. I was going to try to pick up the Iphone tomorrow, but I can't check my work E-mail till later in the day... apparently they send the discount information to that email. I'm currently getting a 23% discount from Sprint for the company I work for, and it's saving me about $14 a month.
I wonder what the general percentage is for my company with AT&T, I can't find a chart or anything anywhere.

I think I've heard discounts aren't valid for the iPhone. There's been a couple posts about it already. Search around to be sure.

Well.. not for the phone, but for the plan monthly. I plan to open up a family plan in a few months.

I am not aware of any discounts for the Iphone itself, but you can save anywhere from 5-30% off your rate plan. To activate your fan #, just click the link inside the email they sent to your work email address. It should give you some information after that about exactly how much your discount is. You should also be able to call ATT or go into any store, and they should be able to tell you exactly how much your discount is.
I talked to AT&T yesterday about this. My company lets me get discounts with AT&T and Verizon (my previous carrier). The person at AT&T told me that they aren't giving a discount for V1 iPhone plans but I could get a 22% discount on the talk part of the plan for a 3G iPhone if I got one. You need a Foundation Account # or FAN as they call it.

I recently found out I get a 15% discount because I am a state employee. The discount will be applied to the primary account, so make sure your iphone plan is not on the primary account. If you are on a family plan, make sure one of the other non-iphones on the plan is the primary.

Odd.. I brought the link up at work and it sent nothing about a FAN number. I didn't have a AT&T account so two guys here actually signed up off the homepage link and it said their discount has been recieved and will be applied in the next 2-3 billing cycles. They even went to their personal e-mails and checked the email from AT&T telling them the same thing and there was absolutely no information about what type of percentage they would get, just that it has been applied.
