My store will be fully stocked on iPhones in the morning, but are people still forming lines? Hate to have to wait to get another phone.

If you want to make sure that you are going to get one then I would suggest getting to the Apple store about an hour prior to opening. If there are no line then leave and come back but it's better safe than sorry.

I am not sure if lines are still forming but it's very possible.

I'd just hate to drive out there in the morning to just check if there is a line. I did this Saturday, Sunday, and Monday for the At&t stores in my area. At&t store said saturday, Apple still had over 200 in line. Wasn't even going to try Apple, but local At&t told me they will not receive any stock to sell to the public till next week. So Apple Store it is.

If you really want to get one I would go an hour before also. Regardless, you are still waiting (either in a line or for the store to open) if you want to get a phone during this busy time.

I went by 2 Apple stores earlier this evening and both still had long lines with 3+ hours wait time. I decided to not bother since they did not have any cases I wanted in stock at either location and one store was sold out of the screen protectors.

I don't, the Wife does. She said she didn't want one, but now wants it because I got my brother one. My daughter and wife still have the V1 and see no hurry to upgrade her now.

One thing I learned from this, is NO does mean Yes, LOL.

At least the store doesn't open till 10am.

Of course no means yes, I didn't want one either but there I was yesterday in line at an Apple Store. I wanted in on the hype.

I waited in line yesterday for over a hour only for teh Apple store to sell out 3 people infornt of me. Just as a heads up they where telling everyone in line if you had a FAN discount on your account they could not sell you a phone that you must go to a ATT store.

Last year, there were lines a week after the initial iPhone release date. I would expect this year to be the same judging by the amount of stock available at the stores.

I waited 3 hours in line at the Plano store. The manager also told us they weren't getting restocked until sometime today.

Since today is the 15th, the day many people get paid (in the U.S.), I would imagine lines being somewhat longer than normal.

I was at the apple store in the garden state plaza today for a non-iphone issue. It was busy but there were no lines for buying anything. As usual, if you're buying something, they fall all over you, if you're attempting to get something fixed, there's tons of red tape.

I don't feel bad now, I only waited 15 minutes to find out they didn't have any. I guess the wife can wait till Friday.

LOL. Pretty much my case. I was on the fence, and then on Sunday said the heck with it, try to get one. I knew the AT& T stores were all out, so headed to Apple store only to learn I'm part of that predicament of folks with the FAN #/"discounted" plans deal. I'm not willing to go so far as to call off the discount , because as miniscule as it it, every other time I change something on my plan, something else gets messed up. When I added another family line, they ended up deactivating my iPhone data plan and removing the data block access from another phone on the plan-they messed it all up, and I had to get it all corrected. Not worth the hassle. I'll just do the fulfillment order for a device that like iphoneconnie well stated, that I didn't even decide I wanted, but oh well, here I am.

Yep, Apple said you could buy it there if you took the discount off first then called at&t when you left to put it back on. There were tons of people inline calling at&t to do get theirs taken off, even using Apple employees cell phone to do it. There were also young teenagers and a couple of men in line that were trying to get an iphone and couldn't because the plan was under their parents name or their wife's name, you have to be the primary account holder to activate at Apple store, if you are a spouse or dependent and your name is not the primary account then you need to bring them with you. There was all kinds of phone calls being made and these were the problems that was taking the line so long. Even though the Apple people repeated instructions over and over while we waited.
