iPod Touch Apple Exchanges???

I took my iPod touch to the mac bar back in March when the thing electrocuted me in the wifi antenna area. They gave me a "new" one but it did not come out of a normal iPod touch box, instead it was a white box, was that a refurbished one or a new one? I felt stupid walking in the bar with my original box, cable, headphones and everything else lol.:laugh2:

And all replacements are refurbished. Except I think when the iPhone and iPod Touches first came out, they were all new replacements.

Ya I was, it never touched water, I had no static in me, all I felt was a little zap run across my finger, then the battery lost 25% power somehow. Wifi was on so Idk if that was the problem. The guy inspected it and told me he would check it out, but instead he gave me another one. It's refurbished??? Is that why it had this wierd piece of plastic coming out of the side of it that I can't pick with my finger nails?
