How is battery life with 3G off?

I'm curios, has anyone checked the battery with 3G off fully for the entire day?

I'm curios how the battery holds up compared to the V1 when running pretty much the same features.

I tried it today and its actually not that much different. Maybe get an extra hour out of your phone if its off. Now bluetooth takes the battery! But i cant do without my Jawbone2:2cool:

im at 20% right now currently waiting for the battery to die completely. im gonna try and give a few options turned off tomorrow and see if i can go the whole day without charging.

- 3G off
- Push manually
- Wi-Fi off
- Auto brightness off
- Email off

That is just like having a v1. You should easily be able to go all day with all that off. Rwlemember for best battery life have brightness at around 30-40%, and on the new 3g it's way better than on the old v1.

Yes I did notice that aswell. I think Apple said it also that the phone will get better as more charges are done to it

nice find.. thanks. i have made my adjustments and anxious to see how it does after today. yesterday at 5:15 (charged all night) i was less than 20% battery left at the at&t store while i was complaining about my lack of service bars.
