View Full Version : OMG Please Help!! I screwed up the Activation process!! =O

Ok, so i was trying to activate my dads iphone on the computer today and i entered the social security number right, and i checked the right options but i typed in the wrong cell number that the phone was going to swich over to...as a result, apple/itunes kept saying that my activation was being revised or something, and i got the email that the activation had failed...but now i cant go back to revise a simple mistake! Does anyone know how i can go back or who i can talk to that can help? And i restored 3 times and still nothing...Please help! :frown:

Just call AT&T. They can probably work everything out. :)

thanks, but are they going have to like re-do the sim card and everything like that?

I would try to just restore the phone and do it over again. Your number should be imbedded in the sim card. Its worth a shot before you call ATT.

no its just that i'm trying to get to the bare beginning of the activation process, like when you re enter the social security number and ppick the plans

Ohhh. Hmm I never had to do that. Did you have a first generation iPhone or is this your first?

ive had the 1st gen and i'm doing this for the 1st gen...i'm switching a number for my dad

same thing happened to me... what i did was bought the cheapest gophone, took the sim card and put it in the iphone and activated it again. it worked.
