Somebody make an app that brings up the four major battery drainers in one desktop icon, and allows you to manipulate them as needed:

-brightness
-3G
-WiFi
-Push

wouldn't that require system-level access? i.e. a jailbreak (Apple does not allow such access in the appstore offerings)? Bossprefs is aaaawfully close. Let's hope it ports quickly to the 3G/2.0JB.
