Have you tried to put your iPhone SIM card in your old ATT or Cingular phone? Will it work? I am mostly interested in knowing if it will work on Nokia E62.

Thanks.

Ok, so iPhone SIM card works on other ATT/Cingular phone. That's what I need to know because I will be keeping my E62. The E62 has so many features that iPhone doesn't have and probably won't ever have.

For the 2nd part, did you mean that after the activation, you can put any ATT/Cingular SIM card (assume it is still active) in the iphone and was able to make/receive calls?

Yep. it works. and your old sim works in the iphone.

yes you can put it in an old Cingular/AT&T phone. No visual voicemail won't work because that is an iphone feature.

No, I don't have an iphone yet. I want to know if I can put my current sim card in the iphone and have it work. I really don't want to have to transfer all my contacts manually........
