Things should really be slowing down by Monday. 9AM should put you right at the front of the line.

Will both AT&T and Apple stores have iPhones to sell tomorrow (Sunday)? AT&T opens at 11 am and I'm planning to go at 9 am.

Good question. I have been on the fence about upgrading, but have decided, what the heck, go for it, so I thought I'd call the two Apple stores in my area this afternoon, as the website was prompting people to check back after 9:00 PM for tomorrow's stock. So I figured I'd just call, and did manage to get through. The one store said, yes, plenty in stock, but long line, same as yesterday. The other store is sold out and didn't seem they would have any yet by tomorrow (Sunday). I have numerous AT&T stores around me too, but wasn't going to call all of them, and I know for the V1 release, they definitely seemed to have much less in stock at a time. So I don't know, as I'm out and about tomorrow, if I'm near an AT&T store, I might take a glance, but I wonder too if it will be the same deal with long lines no stock. I am definitely not standing in a long line like the first time, so I may not have the 3G one for a while, and in the meantime I'm enjoying the 2.0 and my V1.

Two things for NYC area:
First went to Soho store to pick up accessories. When leaving at about 9:00 pm the line was just a handful. Maybe that was directed by the store as I think they close at 10:00.
Okay, what I did was debate Paramus and Short Hills this morning and at 9:30 headed out to Short Hills Mall. Arrived maybe quarter to 10 and there was less than 20 people ahead of me.
Was in and out with a 16GB white (only color they had) in less than an hour! Needless to say after failing at my local AT&T this morning (line of 30 but they said only 8GB so I bolted) to be able to get done in less than an hour with the in store activation was nothing short of ecstasy.
Anyone in the area who can drive to Short Hills Mall, I'd say go for it and just get there reasonably early (they open at 10:00) and you will be very happy you did.
Good luck.
Oh and the phone and new apps rock. AT&T does have a signature line from Casemate but this one does not have the screwable clip that I miss but still a snug leather case with an open case.

I stopped by the Century City (W. Los Angeles) Apple store last Tuesday after an early Doctor's appointment. It was 9:00 and I figured if there were not too many people in line I would wait the hour until they opened.
Turned out the store opend at 9 to handle the demand and there were only 3 people in line! I was out of there in 45 minutes with my new black 8 Gig.
Timing (and luck) is everything...

Both of the Apple stores near me just got shipments in yesterday, not sure of how many but it hopefully won't be too much longer before you can get your hands on one.
